Digital was an FTTH Network Operator in the UK. APFutura was a key player supporting Digital Infrastructure on the engineering and deployment activities, connecting more than 11,000 customers from 2019 to 2024. APFutura’s comprehensive approach was outlined in a detailed Design Book, which included the definition of deployment zones and the criteria for planning, certification and design, ensuring a seamless and efficient deployment process.
The selection of materials and routing equipment, such as WDM transport systems, demonstrated APFutura’s commitment to quality and reliability. Additionally, APFutura integrated the OSS (Operational Support Systems) and ACS (Automated Control Systems) systems to streamline operations and enhance network performance. Networks were deployed, along with the installation of new routers.
